Photography book "Zagreb, Koprivnica, Bjelovar"
By definition, home is the environment in which we live; house, but often the word represents much more than space itself. It is a place where we feel safe, belong and find peace. In a way, it shapes us and tells a story about us. The space we live in represents our identity. It reveals our interests, routines, relationships and other. I use a photo book to create my self-portrait. The text that represents the messages with my loved ones plays an equally important role as photography. The title page gives us the code for reading the book. Each object/person provides information about the significance of a location for me. At the same time, through all these objects/persons, I ask myself where is my home? Is it in all three locations, just one or none of them. What can each of these locations say about me? How do they shape me?
